"Your Reality" (also known as "Your Reality (Credits)"[1]) is a song that plays at the end of Doki Doki Literature Club!. The song is a rendition of the game's central theme, played on a piano with vocals by Jillian Ashcraft. In-universe, it is written by Monika and is about how much she loves the player. At the end of the game, Monika enters the song in the command prompt. Curiously, the song in the command line is "ddlc.ogg", the game's title theme, rather than its actual name, "credits.ogg". The song is alluded to earlier, with Monika mentioning how she has been practicing piano. Notably, the lyrics regarding the pen and the ink are also alluded to earlier in one of Monika's Writing Tips of the Day. It appears at the end of the game when Monika intervenes and starts playing her piano and singing the lyrics. The song once again reprises its role during Doki Doki Literature Club!'s remake, Doki Doki Literature Club Plus!.

While not included in the original game, a cover of "Your Reality" known as "Poems are Forever" is included on Team Salvato's YouTube channel, composed by Shoji. It is an upbeat techno track and features the first two lyrics of the original song, as well as Monika's lines from the ending, such as "Can you hear me?" and "So, yeah!"

Composition

"Your Reality" is a piano rendition of the central theme from Doki Doki Literature Club!. While mainly played on a piano, it uses a guitar after the first verse. A mandolin also plays halfway through alongside a ukulele.

Every day, I imagine a future where I can be with you
In my hand is a pen that will write a poem of me and you
The ink flows down into a dark puddle
Just move your hand, write the way into his heart!
But in this world of infinite choices
What will it take just to find that special day?
What will it take just to find that special day?

Have I found everybody a fun assignment to do today?
When you're here, everything that we do is fun for them anyway
When I can't even read my own feelings
What good are words when a smile says it all?
And if this world won't write me an ending
What will it take just for me to have it all?

Does my pen only write bitter words for those who are dear to me?
Is it love if I take you, or is it love if I set you free?
The ink flows down into a dark puddle
How can I write love into reality?
If I can't hear the sound of your heartbeat
What do you call love in your reality?
And in your reality, if I don't know how to love you
I'll leave you be
